The image was taken from Scheffel Terrace with a 600-mm lens. The Scheffel Terrace is named after the German poet and novelist Joseph Victor von Scheffel (1826-1886). From there one can enjoy a beautiful view on the ruins of Heidelberg Castle, Heidelberg's old town and the river Neckar with the Old Bridge (1788).
